3rd Gas Data Transparency Conference
4-5 June 2013 | Bali, Indonesia
The Conference assessed progress made since the establishment of JODI-Gas as a permanent global data transparency initiative (an outcome linked to the Second Gas Data Transparency Conference held in Doha, 22-23 May 2012), and reviewed findings from the on-going beta testing of the JODI-Gas Database, which was launched in January of this year. Around 70 countries representing roughly 80% of global natural gas supply and demand are currently submitting data on a monthly basis. The agenda at the Third Gas Data Transparency Conference also involved an expert review of the final draft of the JODI-Gas Training Manual, and establishing a timeline towards the public launch the JODI-Gas database later this year.
